Absolutely an amazing book! 4th year Med student at U of M and read it to prepare for my cardiology Sub I but wish I would’ve read it early during my clinical/M3 year. Concise but very informative in regards to clinical relevance. Does a great job at incorporating basic science when necessary but not overwhelming. Also the first 60 pgs prior to the cases do a great job at explaining fundamental cardiology principles in a detailed but easy to understand way from the HPI, normal & abnormal physical exam findings, EKG and various diagnostic/surgical procedures. I thought this was one of the stronger aspects of this book compared to other case file series I’ve read. Probably the best organized Case Files I’ve seen so far!
